How to turn off the camera shutter sound in Moto G 3rd Gen
Good News – System Update available on March 29, 2016 comes with setting to turn off Camera shutter sound.
On all my smart phones, I follow the Smart Phone Etiquette of keeping the sounds in control. I was quite disappointed when my new Moto G 3rd Generation didn’t had an option to turn off the camera shutter sound.
After checking on Google, I realized that this is a known bug in Marshmallow 6.0 and there are some alternatives, which may not be easy to try.
Today (March 29, 2016), I was amazed to see the below System Update screen which includes the bug fix for Camera Shutter Sound.

The below image is the default Camera App setting screen which does not contain the Sound setting:

Post system update, the default Camera App contains the sound setting:

After Update, Camera App has Sound Setting
The update size was 371.4 MB. Overall update process took about 30 minutes to complete on my WiFi connection.
